Let me start by saying I did not take the following pictures, these are photos I found on the internet. I especially wanted  to share them with those of you who have ties to the community of Percival but are presently elsewhere.

These businesses are located on Iowa hwy 2. When they had to close up, many of them sandbagged around their buildings. When I first saw these pictures I thought to myself that surely water was not going to reach this area, but unfortunately it did.
