Joel DeLong is a sophomore student at Iowa State University majoring in soft ware engineering.
He is the grandson of Jim and Phyllis Layman.
One of Joel’s favorite movies is the movie “Young Guns.”
“Software engineering is a difficult major,” he states, “but will lead to a lot of opportunities.”
“FREEDOM” is the best part about the college experience.
His word of wisdom to those in the older generation is, “Open yourself up to opportunities that will lead to the greatest success.”
