“Showers of Blessing” Campaign II April – August 2019

Showers of Blessing” Campaign II
           April – August 2019

Showers of Blessing” began in July 2011 in response to a devastating “100” year flood of the Missouri River. All funds received were dispersed to over 50 families recovering and rebuilding their homes.
Again Percival Community Church is activating “Showers of Blessings Campaign II” in response to another historic flooding of the Missouri River, this spring of March 2019. Destruction is immense, over-whelming and beyond measure for individuals, families and communities affected by this latest natural disaster.
Our goal is to assist the Percival Community Church, which has two furnaces and an air conditioning system lost to the flood, and then persons and communities Bartlett, Percival and Hamburg with their damages. All gifts will be used for these purposes.
While the task ahead is daunting; we believe that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will provide the faith, hope, and love to accomplish many wonderful things in His glory. In this season of Easter, as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, His victory over death and the grave, we hold fast to our faith that God is good and out of these flood waters will flow, “Streams of Mercy and Showers of Blessings.”

Above all else we as a church ask you to join us in:
1. Praising and Giving God Thanks for safety, strength and security.
2. Praying for the communities affected in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.
3. If God through His Holy Spirit guides you to send a financial gift of support and encouragement mail to:

Sunday March 31, 2019

Twenty five members of Percival Community Church gathered at the Sidney Community Center for worship. It was a very special time of visiting, sharing and encouraging each other.

Everyone was positive and I left believing that the Lord was already working out His plans and purposes for our small congregation. The overriding attitude was God is good even in difficult times.

Please uplift us in prayer and all the communities and individuals that have been displaced by the flood waters of 2109.

Pastor Blaine
