We're Home!

Nine months after the flood of 2019 began in March, the Percival Church congregation is finally back in their church building! Services were held Sunday, December 22.
Many repairs had to be made after the flood.  There was about four feet of water in the basement. This ruined the two furnaces that were down there. The new furnaces were installed upstairs so if we are ever flooded again, they will be fine.
An old porch on the back side of the church was removed, and a new fire door was installed.
A section of the roof had to be repaired. There was mold behind the paneling where the roof had leaked.  We decided to remove all the paneling in the entryway, and new drywall, flooring, trim, and ceiling tiles were installed.
Arbor Country Cleaning professionally cleaned the entire church since there was mold.
The congregation would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Sidney Senior Center for allowing us to hold services there while the repairs were made.  We would like to invite everyone to join us for a candlelight service on Christmas Eve at 4:00.
On December 29th, fellowship will be at 9:30 and the service at 10:30.
Beginning in January, services will be at 9:30 followed by fellowship at 10:30.
