Prayer requests for September 19-20

Pray for the members of our church, Pastor Blaine, Rhonda Shirley, Sandra, Teresa Spidell, Kristin, Jan's sister Monica.
Birthday blessings to Tammy Chaney on the 26th!
Happy Anniversary to Don and Wava on the 23rd!
Jan's sister, Monica, was in a bad vehicle accident this week. She has four broken ribs, a cracked sternum, and two broken bones in her back.
Kristen Handy will probably be in the hospital for two more weeks.
Dale gave me permission to share this information with you. Pastor Blaine has had three small strokes altogether. His limbs are working, though his walking is very slow. His reaction time is greatly reduced. His memory is "hit and miss" at times. The stroke affected his esophagus and he cannot swallow which puts pressure on his trachea and makes it hard to breathe. He has lost a lot of weight. He thinks of our congregation often. They are very thankful for our prayers.

We have a couple of shares today, the first from Mary Zach.

"Fall has arrived at our place! I painted two new barn quilts, one for each side of our driveway."

Here are a couple of fall pictures from Mindy.

We put up our scarecrow, wreath and added a couple of pumpkins.

This cute cement planter was a thrift store find. The pumpkins are all from Owen/Gubser Pumpkins located 5 miles east of Hamburg.

Looking through past photos of church and church gatherings, I thought it might be nice to share one or two every Sunday, calling it, "Captured Moments from the Past."

Here's today's captured moments...
