Church Service

There will be a community church service tomorrow, Sunday, March 24, in Hamburg at the elementary school at 11:00. Please pass on this information.

Here are a few more pictures. Photos are from Facebook, don't always know who took the photo to give photo credit to but hopefully they won't mind as I know we are all concerned about everyone. You can click on pics to enlarge.
Here is a picture of the Percival Fire Department. You can see the side of the church right beside it.

Mary Zach shared a picture of their farm. The bin and machine sheds look ok. Their house is a few miles from here and is ok.

Here is Dave and Beth Lueth's family farm.

Here is the Nebraska City bridge looking towards the Iowa side.

There are several of our church families that are displaced right now.  I am only able to share information that has been given to me. This flood has affected so many people, farms and businesses. I am seeing and hearing about different situations daily and it breaks by heart. I do know I can tell you this with absolute certainty, the outpouring of love, kindness and generosity I myself have witnessed is just indescribable. To see people helping people when they themselves are in need of help.......I just can't even form words. Continued prayers for all.

A Few Pictures

Having some issues with the blog site. It's not wanting to allow me to post pictures. I'm having to try another program, so don't know how this will look when I go to upload it. Guess we will find out.

Above picture is the Hamburg exit sign on interstate 29. Below is Percival.

From Pastor Blaine

Psalm 29:10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King forever.

Amidst the devastating flood of 2019 as people of faith let us see the Lords sitting above the flood waters guiding and directing His divine purpose.

Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give strength unto his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.

So as we face the challenges in the coming weeks may the love of the Father be felt daily, allowing the joy of the Lord to be our strength and let the peace of the Holy Spirit consume us as we rebuilt our homes, communities and church. Remember our God reins and sits King forever.

Praying and uplifting each and every one of you.

Pastor Blaine

Notifications and Updates

We are in the middle of some serious flooding. Water is now in Percival and have been told the water is up to the steps of the church. Bartlett is under. Hamburg has more water than it’s had since the 1800’s we’re told.  A lot of our church families are being impacted by this, having to leave their homes. Going to try and post updates and information on here.  If anyone has information to share to help keep us informed, let us know as we are worried about everyone involved. I want to be able to post updates of our church families and where they are taking safety. Keep everyone in your prayers.
