Holy, Holy, Holy

In the Garden

Hello Friends,

It's been my privilege to spend some time with Marge Bennett's family and conduct her funeral. Listening to stories and sharing those stories is the best way to learn about others.  I loved learning about Marge and her love.

This week Paul continues on his journey towards Rome, not by choice, but under arrest defending Christ crucified.

Our song this week is "Hard Love" by NEEDTOBREATHE.

I am sharing a little DIY (do it yourself project) I saw online and loved.  I tend to be late in discovering things, many of you probably have seen this before or may even do it yourself.   It's one of those, "it's so simple" why haven't I done this?  A Devotional Basket.  Get a basket, gather up the items you wished to put in it, your bible, devotional books, a journal, pen and paper, prayer book, etc.  Again, if you are like me, I would have a book over in one cupboard, another one in some other place and then I would spend time trying to locate them.  Now I will have them safely gathered together in one place that can easily be move around. Feeling pretty proud of myself :)    Remember....it's the little things....

Found the basket at the Dollar Store, I tied on the wooden beaded heart I found at Hobby Lobby on one side and the 'Bless Our Home' on the other side, also found at Hobby Lobby.

If you don't have one already, January would be a great time to make yourself a devotional basket.  ~ Mindy

Sunday, Jaunuary 15, 2023

 Blessings!

Captured a glimpse Saturday of the early morning sun. Even though it wasn't brightly shining, it was still pretty.  The decrease of sunlight in the winter months can sometimes bring on those "winter blues," leaving us feeling a little blah at times.  This brought to mind a stitchery I made several years ago, 18 years ago to be exact.  How true these words are (whether it be spring, winter, summer or fall), when we find ourselves in those "winter blue" times of our lives. ~ Mindy

I believe in the sun when it's not shining, I believe in love even when I feel it not, I believe in God even when he is silent.

Today's Sermon:  "Jerusalem"

Today's Hymns:

How Firm A Foundation

Near to the Heart of God

Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross

Dear friends, this week we are back with the Apostle Paul as he arrives back in Jerusalem- even though- many tried to talk him out of it- they only saw bad things happening in his future.  But Paul was resolute God was faithful and this was the path God was calling him to take. Citizen Way challenges us with "I Will"

Blessings!!
