Blessings!

Prayer is the key. Faith unlocks the door.

Good Morning everyone!  Just a reminder that we are printing several weeks bulletins in advance for a short time due to unforeseen circumstances.  Therefore, our printed praise and prayer requests will not be able to be updated weekly. Again, this is just temporary and will resume when able.  In the meantime, as always, let us remember to pray for one another.

Every day Lord, we thank you for Your love and Your guidance.  We thank you for the joys and blessings You so freely give to us. We praise You for the beauty of the earth that surrounds us each day.   How can it not refresh our souls to gaze upon a flower, or to cast our eyes to the sky and witness the beauty of a sunrise or sunset?   In the hard times let us remember it is Your word that gives us strength.  It is Your love and compassion that we lean on for comfort.  Every one of us has trials, everyone has unspoken prayers. Today and every day Lord, we lift those up to you.  Continue to renew our hearts with Your strength and purpose.  Thanks be to God, Amen.

This week let us uplift the family of Danny and Kelly Osborn as they mourn the loss of their son, Zayne.

Let us also uplift Beth Lueth and family as her mother, Mary Kellogg passed away.

Today's Sermon:  "Change"

Today's Hymns:

And Can It Be

Blessed Assurance

Reading:  Matthew 19:16-30

My dear friends,

This week our code word is "Change" and we're looking at the rich young ruler and Jesus' interaction.

Our song this week is one of my favorites.  Micah Tyler "Different."

One I listen to often as I feel He's (Jesus) telling me something.

I look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday.

Blessings!!

A few weeks back I found these little prayer boxes at the Dollar Tree.  I just loved them.  These were the only two they had left.  Such a cute little container. "Give it to God" on the lid, and inside a scripture and pen and paper to jot down a prayer to place inside.  These would be a fun DIY project to make on your own.  Using your imagination to create and decorate your own little prayer box.

 Blessings!

After the Winter, God sends the Spring

Springtime is the season
of hope and joy and cheer.
There's beauty all around;
to see, to touch, to hear.
So no matter how downhearted
or discouraged you may be,
New hope is born when we behold
leaves budding on a tree.
Or when we see a timid flower
push through the frozen sod,
And open wide, in glad surprise,
it's petalled eyes to God...
For this is just God saying
"Lift up your eyes to Me,
And the bleakness of your spirit
like the budding springtime tree,
will lose it's wintry darkness
and your heavy heart will sing!"
For God never sends the winter
without the joy of Spring.
~Helen Steiner Rice

Lord, thank you for the blessings of Spring.

"You, beautiful soul, are here for a reason. Your words matter, your thoughts matter, your love matters, your life matters."

"And sometimes that means doing hard things.  Keep facing the light.  Even when it is a long way off, know it is there.  Even when you can't see, have faith.  And know that you matter. You, beautiful soul, are here for a reason.  We need your light today."  ~ From the book, " Everyday Spirit, Mary Davis.
