 Blessings!

Every now and then an old Sunday School song will pop in my head.  I was sitting on the porch one morning as the sun was peeking through.  How many of you remember this song?    "A sunbeam a sunbeam, Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.  A sunbeam a sunbeam, I'll be a sunbeam for Him."   ~Mindy

I received a note from Pastor Blaine this week to share with you all.

To my church family in Percival:  Just a quick note to let you know I am out of the hospital again.  Everyday is a constant struggle but I have the assurance and confidence that the joy of the Lord is my strength.  While I miss you greatly each of you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I'm still confident that I'll have the opportunity to see and visit with you.  Until such time continue strong in the faith and realize that God is in control.

Pastor Blaine

Pastor Blaine, you too are in our thoughts and prayers and everyone here misses you as well.

As many of you know Aaron and Makayla were married last Saturday. Mary Zach sent the following pictures and message to share with us all.

Aaron married the love of his life, Makayla, on Saturday, July 24, 2021!  It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony.  The message, music, and prayers focused on making Christ the center of their marriage.  It was extra special because Makayla's father married them.  Jan and Grace were both in the wedding party.  The reception was filled with amazing food, visiting with friends and family, and dancing.  One of the highlights was the father-daughter dance.  Makayla and her dad started out slow dancing and then broke into some fun classics like YMCA and Cotton Eye Joe.  They were beaming with joy.  Aaron and I also had our special moment during the mother-son dance, but we were not nearly as entertaining.

We are blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-law and now there is another teacher named Mrs. Zach!

Congratulations again to Aaron and Makayla!  May God bless, keep and guide you the rest of your lives.
