Sunday Blessings!

God is faithful.  No matter what the world sends our way, how comforting is the knowledge that we can always put our faith and trust in Him.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. ~ Psalm 107:1

 Sunday Blessings!

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His love endures forever~ Psalms 136

Gratitude is a description of a successful mode of living.  The thankful heart opens our eyes to a multitude of blessings that continually surround us.  James E. Faust

*About the picture:  As I was out thrifting one day, this plate caught my eye.  The colors of fall, the beautiful patina, I just loved it.  Thought it made a pretty picture and I especially love the quote, "Interrupt anxiety for gratitude."  Isn't this so true. Everyday life can sometimes fill us with anxiousness, worry, and fear, so much so that it can become overwhelming.  It's good to stop, pause, take a moment and count our blessings, to remind ourselves all that we have to be thankful for. As I remind myself daily, there is always, always, something to be thankful for. ~ Mindy

A couple more pictures of our tree. It started out a pretty golden yellow and is now getting some orange hues to it.

My grandson Asher and I love the tree so much we had to go out and give it a hug. Google "hugging a tree," it's actually good for you!

 Sunday Blessings!

Thank you to Phyllis Layman for making this lovely wreath to greet us every Sunday. It's very striking with the mirror as a backdrop.

Welcome November, the month of gratitude.  November is usually the month we like to think about all our blessings and all that we have to be thankful for.

"In November, the earth is growing quiet.  It is making its bed, a winter bed for flowers and small creatures.  The bed is white and silent, and much life can hide beneath its blankets." ~ Cynthia Rylant
