 Sunday Blessings!

Sharing this photo of my ceramic pumpkins that I made 36 years ago.  I can hardly believe it has been that long. They bring back a lot of memories that I revisit every year as I set them out. ~Mindy

I thought today would be a great day to share a pumpkin story...

Today is another day, another opportunity, to shine the light on Jesus!

Thank you to everyone! We appreciate you all! Come join in the fun!

*******************************************************

I also wish to share a fun family activity I came across.  A fun/teaching way to carve your pumpkins!

It's called, "The Pumpkin Prayer"

Open my mind so I can learn about You. (cut the top off the pumpkin)

Take all my sin and forgive the wrong that I do. (Scoop out the inside)

Open my eyes so Your love I will see. (cut the eyes)

I'm sorry for times I've turned up my nose at what You've given me. (cut the nose)

Open my ears so Your word I will hear. (cut the ears)

Open my mouth to tell others You're near. (cut the mouth)

Let Your light shine in all I say and do! (place a candle/tea light inside)

Amen

 Sunday Blessings!

"Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn."  ~ Elizabeth Lawrence

It's beginning to be that time around here. I'm noticing all the golds and yellows and reds and orange.  All those beautiful fall colors.  If only they could last a little longer.  So because it is such a short time, you must take the time and watch the leaves turn.  It is a beautiful sight to behold. ~ Mindy

Good Morning!  With the arrival of fall, I got to thinking about our church cookbook.  I guess I associate cooking more with cooler weather.  How many of you have still been "Cooking with Grace?"

Give us this day our daily bread ~ Matthew 6:11
