We welcome in the New Year 2020 and look forward to what lies ahead. We are so thankful and grateful to be back in our church here in Percival. Although 2019 has been a trying year for many, what with all the flooding, we must not overlook the many blessings that we also received!
As we our back in our church, church services will be held at 9:30 with fellowship following.
Since we are beginning a new year, I came across this idea and thought I would share with you...
As January begins, start the year with an empty jar and fill it with a note of a good thing that happened each week. On New Year's Eve, empty it and read about all the good things that happened to you through the year.

We're Home!
Nine months after the flood of 2019 began in March, the Percival Church congregation is finally back in their church building! Services were held Sunday, December 22.
Many repairs had to be made after the flood. There was about four feet of water in the basement. This ruined the two furnaces that were down there. The new furnaces were installed upstairs so if we are ever flooded again, they will be fine.
An old porch on the back side of the church was removed, and a new fire door was installed.
A section of the roof had to be repaired. There was mold behind the paneling where the roof had leaked. We decided to remove all the paneling in the entryway, and new drywall, flooring, trim, and ceiling tiles were installed.
Arbor Country Cleaning professionally cleaned the entire church since there was mold.
The congregation would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Sidney Senior Center for allowing us to hold services there while the repairs were made. We would like to invite everyone to join us for a candlelight service on Christmas Eve at 4:00.
On December 29th, fellowship will be at 9:30 and the service at 10:30.
Beginning in January, services will be at 9:30 followed by fellowship at 10:30.
