Sunday Blessings!
"We may ignore, but we can nowhere evade the presence of God. The world is crowded with Him." ~ C. S. Lewis
I have a bed of wildflowers that are blooming beautifully. I took this picture one evening as I was admiring them. Looking at the photo I instantly saw the little evening sun ray shining down and it reminded me of the saying, "Sometimes I just look up, smile and say, I know that was you God." I seem to be in the season of my life where I'm noticing, almost for the first time it seems, the everyday beauty and miracles that surround me. I have a new found love for flowers. I mean how many times in my life have I planted flowers. Yes, I would look at them, admire them and think they were pretty. But now I REALLY see them. They're not just pretty, they are beautifully and intricately made and the evening sun shining down on them is just as breath taking as the morning sun coming out and highlighting the treetops. It makes me wonder how many things have I missed truly seeing. Recognizing all the intricate details of even the simplest of things. God's handiwork is everywhere.... rainbows, sunrises, sunsets, stars, flowers, landscapes, snowflakes, the list is endless. ~ Mindy

July
17-18
If you are looking for something to do this weekend, you might want to check
out the Fremont County Fair!
Last Sunday, the church board voted to accept Donna Miller as our new
pastor. We will have services every Sunday at 10:00.
Since we will be getting together in person, I will not be sending weekly
messages on our group text. If you have an emergency prayer request, we can
still get the message out on the group text and the phone tree. I may send
other announcements from time to time the same way. Mindy is planning
on continuing the church blog as she did before the pandemic. I know she
appreciates any contributions you can give her for the blog.
Today, July 17th, is my son, Aaron's birthday! A week from today, he and
Makayla will get married! We are so happy for them! Please keep us in your
prayers as we go through this very exciting, but stressful week.
Happy Anniversary to DJ and Crystal on the 19th!
Birthday greetings to Babe McCown, Betty Booker, and Donna Glenn on the 24th,
Wava on the 27th, and DJ on the 28th!
I have enjoyed posting videos and information for the blog and the group text messages during the pandemic. I
hope they have been helpful and meaningful for you.
Best wishes to you,
Mary

Old churches must not simply stand
as monuments to the past but as spiritual grandparents that have
invested in the future by passing on their life to others and releasing
their offspring to form new congregations. ~ unknown

I found this daily devotional prayer by Rosemary Hagedom that goes right along with my header picture...
Father, everywhere we go, we see Your handiwork: in the sunrise, in the sunset, and the art work on the seashore created by the rolling waves. We see Your handiwork in the tiny snowflakes and the ice formations on a window pane. Thank you for showing us in Your word that you are with us always. Amen.
Enjoy your week paying special attention to God's handiwork that surrounds us daily.
