Blessings
I see the moon and the moon sees me; God bless the moon and God bless me.
Tried to capture the Harvest Moon Friday evening. It was so pretty but unfortunately the camera just couldn't capture its true beauty.

This morning I have the following information to share:
I don't know how many of you have noticed this frame filled with these beautiful watercolor notecards at church, but if you haven't, you need to check them out!
They were done by a former resident of Percival, Sherry Penney. Beth brought this display of cards and information on purchasing them. I was so intrigued, I decided to reach out to Sherry to see if she would like to share a little about herself and these awesome cards. With her permission, I'm sharing her reply...
Hi Mindy, Thanks for the inquiry. I was a former resident of Percival, my children went to school there and in Sidney and I taught in both schools. I am almost 91 years old and live with my daughter in Norman. We all attended The Percival Community Church. Most of my life I lived in Iowa and Nebraska and I love the old barns and buildings, and paint a lot of rural landscapes. I find Oklahoma a good place to live but miss the cornfields and harvest time. I really did not intend to make a business out of my work but thought the cards would be a good way to share with people who were interested in Percival. Beth has all my information. I would be glad to have anyone contact me on my g mail. I belong to an online group and have a facebook account where we all share our art work. I have painted the old mill that was at Mt. Etna, IA, where my grandparents lived, and some places around Nebraska City and Tecumseh. I use photos I have taken but also have painted on site. My phone line has been messed up due to a new oil well across the road from us. Hard to believe unless you live here. Best thing would be to use the email.
The suggested price for the set of 9 cards which includes the Knox church, is $20.00 which includes postage. I will sell the church pictures individually for $4.00 each and no charge for postage.
My address is 5840 48th Ave NE Norman, OK 73026 and I still use snail mail.

I would like to thank Sherry for sharing with us! If you or anyone you know would like to purchase these note cards or perhaps have questions for her, email her at:

Beth Lueth may be able to answer some questions for you as well!

Old churches must not simply stand
as monuments to the past but as spiritual grandparents that have
invested in the future by passing on their life to others and releasing
their offspring to form new congregations. ~ unknown
