King of Kings Lyrics

In the darkness we were waiting, without hope, without light

'Til from Heaven You came running, there was mercy in Your eyes

To fulfill the law and prophets, to a virgin came the word

From a throne of endless glory, to a cradle in the dirt

Chorus: Praise the Father, praise the Son, praise the Spirit, three in

one, God of glory, Majesty, praise forever to the King of Kings

To reveal the kingdom coming, and to reconcile the lost

To redeem the whole creation, you did not despise the cross

For even in your suffering, you saw to the other side

Knowing this was our salvation, Jesus for our sake you died

 Chorus

And the morning that You rose, all of Heaven held its breath

'Til that stone was moved for good,

For the Lamb had conquered death

And the dead rose from their tombs, and the angels stood in awe

For the souls of all who'd come, to the Father are restored

And the church of Christ was born, then the Spirit lit the flame

Now this gospel truth of old, shall not kneel, shall not faint

By His blood and in His name, in His freedom I am free

For the love of Jesus Christ, Who has resurrected me

Chorus, Praise forever to the King of Kings

 “O Come All Ye Faithful

Benediction

 Sermon:  Zerubbabel and Joshua...Christ

 Hymns:

Holy, Holy, Holy

And Can it Be

Responsive Reading:  Zechariah 3:1-10

Special Music:  "In the House" by David Crowder

 Lyrics for

 "In The House"

Good morning, has it been a long night?

Maybe been a long year, maybe been a hard life

Maybe you're not alright, if you got a little red in your eyes

You've come to the right place, people like you, people like me

This is where we all find grace

 Chorus:

Come on now

Bet you'll wanna sing hallelujah, bet you'll say an amen

Can't help but celebrate being born again

Somebody who loves you, is waiting at the door

It's home sweet home here in the house of the Lord

Take a load off, you're about to find your rest

It's a crazy world out there, got some hope right here

 Out of the wilderness

If you're needing water for your soul, well, you're in the right place

Doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, whoever you are

This is where we all find grace

 Chorus

Bring your heartache, bring your burden

You can lay them down at the door, there is no fear, you belong here

Step into the house of the Lord

Bring your heartache, bring your burden

You can lay them down at the door,

Ain't it so clear, you belong here?

Step into the house of the Lord (hallelujah)

 Chorus

Bring your heartache, bring your burden

You can lay them down at the door

There is no fear, you belong here

Step into the house of the Lord

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Benediction:  Lamentations 3:21-25
