Just a reminder that this Saturday and Sunday is Percival’s 150th Anniversary Celebration.
Saturday, August 18th
2:00 p.m. Cow Pie Bingo in the park. Chance to win $150, $250, or $500! Enjoy activities in the park or go on a tour of past Percival business locations.
5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Fried Chicken Dinner at the Percival Community Church. There will also be an assortment of salads and desserts. Free will donation to the church.
7:00 p.m. Variety Show and Panel Discussion of Percival’s History featuring several longtime residents.
Sunday, August 19th
10:00 a.m. Percival Community Church Service following a sermon that was written by Rev. John Todd in 1867.
12:00 p.m. Potluck Picnic in the park. Please bring a side dish or dessert. Meat & drinks provided.
1:30 p.m. Commemorative Tree Planting
1:45 p.m. Old-time games, tour past Percival Business locations.
The air conditioned Percival Church will be open throughout the celebration where there will be numerous historical displays. Maps will be available to go on a self-guided tour of Percival to see where various businesses were located throughout history.
