Gardening God's way...plant your spiritual garden

Mary came across this poem awhile back and with spring here, we thought now would be the perfect time to share.

For the garden of your daily living...

Plant three rows of peas:
   Peace in our hearts
   Peace in our school
   Peace in our world

Plant four rows of squash:
   Squash gossip
   Squash indifference
   Squash grumbling
   Squash selfishness

Plant four rows of lettuce:
   Lettuce be faithful
   Lettuce be kind
   Lettuce be obedient
Lettuce really love one another

No garden should be without turnips:
    Turnip for lessons
    Turnip on time
Turnip to help one another

Water freely with patience; cultivate with love.
There is abundance in your garden
because you reap what you sow.

To conclude our garden, we must have thyme:
     Thyme for study
     Thyme for friends
     Thyme for family!

After planting, may you "Grow in Grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."  2 Peter 3:18

April 24-25
Good morning!
Birthday greetings to Goldie Hill on the 28th!
Dave Lueth celebrated his birthday by planting corn this week. Pray for safety and good weather for all the farmers during this planting season.
God truly answered our prayers by healing Sara. Please continue to pray for her and Grace.
Pray for Larry and Betty as they mourn the loss of Larry's brother, Ronnie.
JoAnn's sister-in-law, Sharon, needs our continual prayers.

The videos this week are "There is Sunshine in My Soul Today" and "On Eagle's Wings." This second hymn is based on Psalm 91, so you might want to read that.
Have a great week!

We wanted to share these pictures that were posted on Facebook by Chat Mobility, showing the wonderful park in Percival.

Looking through past photos of church and church gatherings, I thought it might be nice to share one or two every Sunday, calling it, "Captured Moments from the Past."
Here's today's captured moments..

Percy's Tidbit

To produce a great crop remember to always plant seeds of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

Never stop planting seeds and forever let your light shine!

Enjoy your week!
