Memorial Day... Let us Remember and Honor.
I took this photo over the weekend of the High Creek Baptist Church/Cemetery located in Atchison County Missouri. I've always thought this was one of the neatest little country churches. It's very well maintained and sits in a beautiful landscaped setting. ~Mindy

Good Morning!
Birthday greetings to Patricia Bohlen on June 1!
We received news JoAnn Birkby's sister-in-law, Sharon Weston passed away. Please uplift the family in prayer.
The church board decided to have a congregational meeting on Sunday, June 27 at
10:00 at the church. This will be a meeting, and not a church service. Everyone
is invited to come and share your ideas about the future of our church.
On this Memorial Day weekend, we remember the men and women who died so we can
be free.
The first video is "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood. Did you know
Mr. Greenwood performed at a memorial service in Omaha last night?
The second video is "America, the Beautiful." This video reminded me
of when I was teaching and had the students draw pictures to illustrate this
song.
We also remember family and friends who have passed on. Peonies were one of
Jan's mother's favorite flowers, so we always place a bouquet of them on her
grave.
Enjoy the holiday weekend! Mary

Looking through past photos of church
and church gatherings, I thought it might be nice to share one or two
every Sunday, calling it, "Captured Moments from the Past."
Here's today's captured moments...
