 Sunday Blessings!

Thank you to Phyllis Layman for making this lovely wreath to greet us every Sunday. It's very striking with the mirror as a backdrop.

Welcome November, the month of gratitude.  November is usually the month we like to think about all our blessings and all that we have to be thankful for.

"In November, the earth is growing quiet.  It is making its bed, a winter bed for flowers and small creatures.  The bed is white and silent, and much life can hide beneath its blankets." ~ Cynthia Rylant

Last Sunday Pastor Donna talked about being salt and light. She also shared with us Mama Sue's Southern Kitchen that her and Mary enjoy following.  Mama Sue loves to cook and share the Lord and stories while doing so.  She encourages others to be salt and light.  Mama Sue has a website. You can click on the link to check it out.

She also has a youtube channel you can find her there too!

And if you are on Facebook, you can also follow her there.

Old churches must not simply stand as monuments to the past but as spiritual grandparents that have invested in the future by passing on their life to others and releasing their offspring to form new congregations. ~ unknown
