More beautiful flower pictures from Pastor Donna.  I was asking her the difference between asiatic lilies and regular lilies, and here's her reply.......

Asiatic's grow in one straight stem with usually lots of blooms and only blooms once, so when they're done blooming you're left with just the green stems.

Regular lilies are like the last picture, they continue to bloom the whole season.

Thank you Pastor Donna for sharing!

Thought I would share this morning a little what I find "funny."  Rusty and I enjoy sitting by the fire some evenings.  Evidently our cat has come to enjoy it too.  Not only does he want to sit with us, he likes his own chair!  I would have thought the fire would scare him.

Old churches must not simply stand as monuments to the past but as spiritual grandparents that have invested in the future by passing on their life to others and releasing their offspring to form new congregations. ~ unknown

I love pictures!  Pictures have a way of placing you back in "remembered moments."  Sights, smells, sounds, nature, animals, all the feels.  Pictures allow us to recall life and all that it entails.

Thought it would be fun to close each week with little "snippets" of life that will perhaps spark a memory or at the very least bring a smile.

*I do not own the pictures.

Homemade bread.  Spark a memory or are you a present day bread maker?!  I especially love the hand stitched cloths.

Have a great week
