Responsive Reading: Galatians 5:13 - 6:2 Life by the Spirit

Leader: 13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
All: 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Leader: 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be
destroyed by each other.
All: 6 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Leader: 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the
Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.
All: 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Leader: 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
All: 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

All: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Leader: 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
All: 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Leader: 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
All: 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
Doing Good to All
Leader: 6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
All: 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Mike gaining strength, picnic tables at the football field.

I wanted to share some pictures with you this morning. My cousin, Tif Holmes posted a video on Instagram of this beautiful sunset. As always, pictures never do it justice. ~Mindy

Can you even?.......

Nothing will stop me in my tracks more than a beautiful sunrise or sunset. I just stand there in awe.

"From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!" Psalm 113:3

Next time you see a glorious sunset, remember that those amazing colors are just "God's little extras." Remember the important message of every sunrise and sunset: God is "on the job!" He is faithful. We can count on Him. ~ Judy A Knox
