 Blessings

How precious the word of God, even in the smallest of Bibles.

How many of you remember singing this children's Sunday School song?

The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the book for me.  Click HERE to listen.

I have a lot of fond memories of Sunday School and thankful for every one of them.

The little tiny Bible in the picture is from 30 plus years ago. Our sons each received one while in Bible school ~Mindy

Old churches must not simply stand as monuments to the past but as spiritual grandparents that have invested in the future by passing on their life to others and releasing their offspring to form new congregations. ~ unknown

Just a little side note.....

As many of you might remember, Pastor Blaine used to do a write up entitled "Pastor's Thoughts" for the newsletter and blog. I've been going back through the blog rereading them.  In one, he ended with the following statement, which I believe at this time, would be nice to share again with you all.

"For me, the years have been all too fleeting but the opportunities to serve 9 congregations in good times and difficult times has been the greatest blessing of my life.  To realize that God could call and use me as an agent of His love, grace and message of salvation is often overwhelming.  All I can say is 'Glory to God, Praise the Lord and Thank you Jesus for all you have done.

To each and every person of the Percival Community Church; thank you for your friendship. Continue in the work and labor on behalf of the Kingdom of God."
